BORN FROM FIRE
Our name comes from a real historical moment.
While working inside the Samuel Miller Mansion in Columbia, PA — once home to the Bank & Bridge Company — we were surrounded daily by the legacy of the Burning of the Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge in 1863. The Union Army made a bold decision to destroy the bridge to protect the region during the Civil War, a choice that ultimately redirected the conflict toward Gettysburg.
It was an act of courage, sacrifice, and forward motion.
That moment became our philosophy:
Sometimes you have to burn the bridge behind you to build something stronger ahead.
That’s how this company was built.
